ESOTERIC YOGA
A course in genuine Hatha Yoga where we methodically learn the knowledge behind the energy perspective in order to be able to use its wisdom for personal and spiritual development.

Yoga – so much more than exercise and stretching
With theoretical understanding and proper practice, we can use Yoga to transform and develop many mental, emotional, psychological and spiritual qualities.
In Yoga we can access and master our inner resources – such as energy, mental focus, vitality and creativity. We learn to cultivate & consciously direct our inner resources. This increases our ability to transform ourselves and our lives in whatever direction we choose.
So this yoga course is not just about doing nice poses with nice clothes and yoga mats. The tools and techniques taught in the course aim to deepen our self-awareness, develop deeper self-mastery and thereby achieve our highest goals and ambitions.

A scientific approach on yoga and transformation
Our curriculum is linked to research and studies from several research areas. Among them biology, anatomy, psychology, neuroscience and physics.
In addition to studying together, we do several experiments during the course, through yoga practice. The teachers guide you to the correct understanding and practice of each technique and together we evaluate the effects of your practice.
The course include yogic methods and keys for increased life quality

Basic laws and principles of the universe – eg the law of resonance, the law of rhythm and the law of polarity.

Techniques for concentration – creative imagination, meditation and elimination of stress.

Methods of relaxation and regeneration – Physical and mental. Restore health, vitality and inner harmony. For example through deep relaxation of the muscles and nervous system and harmonizing the breath and the flow of prana.

The physical and psychological effects of colors on humans – also about the understanding of the influence of sunlight.

Control of the erotic energies – sexuality addressed from the yogic perspective.

Completely natural methods to eliminate toxins from your body.

Healing of disease and deterioration of health through ASANAS and medicinal plants – in parallel with the practice of specific YOGA-techniques.

Advanced forms of yoga from ancient traditions – Svara Yoga, Meridian Yoga, Tibetan Yoga, Kalachakra Tantra and Mahavidya Yoga (Yoga of the 10 Great Cosmic Forces).

The structure of the Course
The classes are structured in modules and grades to create the best conditions for you to gradually deepen your knowledge and practice.
The lessons are once a week. They are paused during August and resumed in September each year. We also have a shorter Christmas break.
New students must start in Year 1 regardless of background, as the later models build on the foundation laid in Year 1.
In the first year, the classes are 2 hours consisting of approx. 90 minutes of yoga practice and approx. 30 minutes of theory.
CLASS struCturE: YOGA PRACTICE
Each Yoga practice consists of 3 phases guided by a teacher:
1. Initial awareness & warm-up exercises.
The practice starts with landing in yourself and finding a harmonious inner focus. We then begin by warming up and stretching the most important parts of our body to gently prepare for the execution of the asanas and other techniques.
2. The main YOGA techniques.
We then practice YOGA together. The practice may include asanas, pranayama, meditation and other techniques taught in the course.
3. Yogic relaxation
The complete yogic relaxation is an active, conscious relaxation of your whole being. Here we crystallize the results of the practice and create long-lasting effects that we can also perceive in daily life.


CLASS struCTurE: THeorY
The theory lasts about 30 minutes, where new topics and possible techniques are presented.
First year theory includes, among other things: the law of resonance, the practice and the specific effects different ASANAS (yoga positions) have on the body and mind, meditation mental-control, cleansing and purification techniques, Yoga Nidra (yogic deep relaxation).
The first year also includes an initiation into Laya Yoga, as mentioned above – a very effective meditation technique. Later years will cover more advanced topics listed earlier.

The written down course material, which you can take home with you, contains detailed descriptions of the techniques you will learn and their effects on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.
Due to the depth of the courses, the materials often contain more information than is possible to discuss in class – so we strongly recommend that you study and retain them.
PersonAL GUIDANCE
Experienced teachers will guide, check and correct your postures and techniques.
Each class also includes time for group discussions, questions and answers. You also have the option of booking personal guidance with your teacher for more personal advice.
