ABOUT OUR CENTER
About us
Natha Yoga Center is a center for the study and practice of tantra and yoga in its traditional forms. The courses also include what in the academic world is called parapsychology and transpersonal psychology.
The purpose is to spread knowledge of genuine spiritual teachings and help people to effective transformation in depth. Both physically, mentally, emotionally and above all spiritually.
We believe in a harmony between science and spirituality, and consider yoga a spiritual science that provides methods with immediate practical applications and realizes that harmony.
The Team at Natha
“We are a spiritual school and community of seekers, practitioners, and aspirants who have come together from all different walks of life, from all over the planet, to discover our highest potential and the true meaning of life, to make the world a better place.”
– Malmö Community
Our Vision
Our vision is to create and spread spiritual knowledge and development of high quality that is inspiring and accessible to all who aspire to be transformed.
With us, we strive to promote tantra and yoga as science in its traditional forms. Thus, we do not only teach physical techniques, but include the essential and fundamental theoretical principles behind the tantra and yoga system.
In this way, those who study and practice can better understand how and why the methods are practiced and validate whether they work, or not, through their own experiences and experiences.
We believe that tantra and yoga contain many valuable tools that can be used for the complete transformation on all levels of the human being.
Our Courses
University-like curriculum
We are often told that our courses are “the most in-depth tantra and yoga courses they have found.” Or that we are “the place for people who are serious about yoga and meditation”. We think it’s because our curriculum has a very unique approach.
The courses follow a curriculum with a progressive learning structure, where practice & theory each week is based on the latest. This helps students develop a stronger consistency in their practice, deeper understanding, greater independence in their studies/practice and better long-term results.
Students receive 4-20 pages of written material after each class that allows them to review and deepen their understanding of the topics and techniques studied each week.
Like a science class at university, we aim to have a scientific approach – it’s not just about theory or blind faith. It’s about experimenting with the techniques, observing the results and drawing your own conclusions.
“An ounce of practice is worth a ton of theory” – so come and practice with us and experience for yourself.
Esoteric Yoga and Tantra Yoga
What we teach at our school comes from millennia old techniques and philosophies that have their origins in many different types of yoga and tantra. Such as Hatha yoga, Kriya yoga, Bhakti yoga, Jnana yoga, Tantra yoga, Raja yoga, Laya yoga etc.
Each of the mentioned forms of yoga and tantra constitutes a depth and teaching for spiritual development. Actually, it doesn’t do justice to put a simple summary explanation on any of them. But one could say that yoga constitutes a variety of physical and contemplative techniques for spiritual deepening.
Tantra is a collection of writings that contain rites, contemplative techniques and practices, where through the discovery and understanding of one’s fall units and desires one can reach spiritual deepening. The purpose of all doctrines is traditionally a form of spiritual liberation.
Center for esoteric studies
Esotericism (from the Greek iso, inside and ter which has to do with contradiction) is overcoming the inner contradictions that stand in the way of achieving total enlightenment. Usually, esotericism refers to secret teachings and hidden knowledge associated with secret societies. Often together with secret initiations, not infrequently in several stages. In many ways, that’s an accurate description. However, unlike how it is described in fantasy books, the purpose of keeping initiations and hidden knowledge secret is to keep the knowledge from becoming superficial or from dogma. But also to protect the individual who, due to internal contradictions, risks distorting knowledge and initiations. In esoteric tradition, only certain knowledge, methods and initiations are given to the aspirant who is ready to manage it, without harming himself or others.
Esoteric teachings appear in the Greek mystery religions, Ancient Egypt, Tibet and have basically always existed in all religions through Sufism, Kabbalah, Gnosticism, Tantra, Yoga, Vajrayana, etc. When the general form of religion could not fully explain reality and various events or was sufficient in the search for the Absolute, esotericism has shown the way. Many, including ourselves, argue that esotericism is even the foundation of all religion before it is bound and destroyed by dogma, stigma, politics, culture, or other controlled and superficial factors.
That we are a center for the study and practice of the esoteric tradition means in practice some essential things. The school originates from a “lineage” guided by a spiritual guide and we base parts of our school on initiations, ceremonies and revelations of unique methods of spiritual deepening.
Our Lineage
From the point of view of the tantra and yoga tradition, the courses we offer are in line with the Gupta Maha Siddha Yoga lineage. Which is an esoteric tradition based on the ineffable union with God, also referred to as “The Source” or “The Absolute”. Like other yogic traditional teachings, the Gupta Maha Siddha seeks to initiate the curious and genuinely aspiring yogi into something very complex. It is about awakening, dynamizing and on command lifting the endless inner energy “Kundalini Shakti” within. Whereupon the yogi learns to maintain an ineffable state of communion with the sublime energies of the macrocosm and manifestation.
In addition to belonging to this traditional lineage, the teachings and courses aim to synthesize all that is divinely inspired and fundamental in the known authentic spiritual traditions. The methods are generally easy to approach by people in our modern world, with the aim of leading to profound spiritual transformation of the practitioner with discipline and heart.
We know that yoga is not and cannot be a sport, and that yoga is much more than a “stay in shape” method. Yoga we believe is a science of personal development, parapsychological and transpersonal research, and has the power to change every single aspect of your life in a positive way. Because the yoga techniques are natural, appropriate to our structure, logical and highly effective, they can be practiced by anyone, regardless of age, creed, religion, belief, social status or physical health.
A school with a spiritual guide
Yoga teacher Gregorian Bivolaru is the founder and spiritual mentor of this esoteric yoga school, author of the Esoteric Integral Yoga course and co-author of the Esoteric Tantra Yoga course offered by the Atman Federation of Yoga and Meditation (of which NATHA is a part), and author of the numerous spiritual books and publications.
In the aftermath of the Romanian political revolution of 1989, he founded a large and influential spiritual movement (M.I.S.A – Movement for Integration into the Spiritual Absolute), based on what we consider an ingenious spiritual teaching system, which today is taught in more than thirty countries around in the world.
To many of the hundreds of thousands of people who have discovered spirituality and enriched their lives by following his teachings and advice, he is a truly exceptional being and a genuine living Tantric master. To others, and also how he calls himself, he is a professor of yoga. Being part of the courses at Natha yoga center does not mean having to see Gregorian as your spiritual guide, although many see him that way.
