Kashmir Shaivism is a spiritual tradition originating in India which is generally considered to be “the highest and purest form of Tantra”. One of the main scriptures of this tradition, Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, contains 112 meditation techniques which brilliantly integrate our everyday experiences as powerful methods for spiritual growth and even for attaining very rapidly the spiritual enlightenment. It includes, for example, instructions on how to focus one’s mind when dancing, eating, breathing, experiencing intense emotions (either pleasant or difficult), making love, admiring a beautiful landscape, or even sneezing. Using these methods, we can, relatively quickly and easily, under a proper guidance, reach spiritual liberation. Thus, this ancient treatise can be rightfully considered as a universal manual of Integral Tantric Yoga, offering an amazingly vast spectrum of methods for spiritual realization in a direct and immediate manner and revealing the secret art through which every life situation can become, in its own way, a particular form of yoga.
In this workshop, Nicolae Catrina will offer an esoteric introduction and the practical initiation through a step by step guidance into several highly effective techniques from Vijnana Bhairava Tantra.

ABOUT THE TEACHER:

Nicolae Catrina (Adinathananda) is a spiritual teacher with more than 35 years of experience. He offers courses and workshops in many countries, such as Romania, Germany, Italy, France, England, Belgium, Hungary, Czech Republic, Greece, Thailand etc. He has devised, 25 years ago, the only course of Kashmir Shaivism outside India, which offers, in a unique way, adapted to the western mindframe, to thousands of students around the world, the richness and depth of this spiritual tradition. He teaches also Yoga of Beauty (or the attainment of spiritual enlightenment through aesthetic experience), Enneagram, Esoteric I-Ching, Tantric Alchemy, Tibetan Tantric Yoga etc. He has written several books and has translated a number of important yogic and tantric sanskrit texts, including Saundarya Lahari, Shiva Samhita, Gheranda Samhita, Shiva Sutras, Spanda Karikas and Vijnana Bhairava Tantra.
